I'm still alive and I don't care, still alive and I don't care...
Or, how 'bout.

Alive and kicking, la la la la, la la la la la, la la la...

Hi! Just woke up, showered, and got dressed (aren't you glad to hear that last part?) Now it's off to the supper table and then to work for 2 of 3.

I will survive, hey heyyyyy. Ugh.

Must stop the mental music.

The good news: I might not have to work Sunday night.

The bad news: IF I call after 5pm, as instructed, and have to report to Greensboro Monday morning for Federal Court jury duty.

The more bad news: It's a six week eligibility and I'm going on week two. I have that feeling of imminent srew-ed-ness.

Smiles, everyone, SMIIIIIIILES!

Have you ever done jury duty before? I'm hoping that someday I'll be called.

Over 10 years ago I had to sit in the jury box for 1.5 days while the lawyers asked us (prospective jurors) different questions. I was so relieved when they dismissed me. Uncomfortable chairs and the slowest, most boring proceedings you could ever imagine. It was horrible!
