Grillin'!
Not much to say of a general nature. Just d/l'ing some tunes against all legal and moral constraints.

I have that near-euphoric feeling I get after a couple of nights work and less than enough sleep my first day off. It's strange, but I get a wash of endorphins for some unknown reason and I'm so chilled and pain free. I've never done drugs, but I imagine this is what it would feel like to do morphine. At least, that's what it seems like when I give it to patients, though they usually fall asleep.

I've been dragging my feet a bit on starting the second job, now that I've been hired. I will get the orientation packet completed and returned early this week, but I could/should have done so early last week. We need the money, but I'm just lazy enough to enjoy not working any extra. Therefore, I drag.

I cooked the chicken for supper tonight on our large George Foreman GGR62 Double Champion grill. My first time using it (Allie does most of the cooking), and it was easy. I highly recommend this grill for anyone who wants to grill meat and/or veggies indoors. It has a good fat drainage system, is easy to clean, and cooks the food very well.

Personal epiphany:

Allie: Your mom and dad both tend to over-plan and under-do.

Light bulb clicks on...

Me: Is that where I get it? It never occurred to me that this trait came from my parents.

Heh, I got the original small grill for Christmas a few years ago (only cooks one hamburger patty at a time), and I still use it at least a couple of times a month.

Thanks, George Foreman!

I know! Talk about missing your calling in life. Imagine how many more convenient household products we might have if he hadn't tried that lame boxing thing!

Well, I sort of understand the urge to punch Muhammad Ali's lights out, if ever given the chance. But yeah, if he started out as an inventor, I guarantee we'd have a time travel machine in every house by now. :(

All Hail the Grill...

The great transformative moment of my diet program was when I started in on chicken breasts...endless arrays of marinades...all chicken, all the time. :)

Re: Ahhhh, Chicken

...all chicken, all the time.

You know, they should have a chicken channel on cable/satellite! Or at least Chicken Week on the Food Network. Not that I'd watch it, or cook any of it. But, I'd try to convince my wife that she should!

Re: Ahhhh, Chicken

InDEED!. Good ol' food network (I spend *way* too much time in front of that)...then again, I love to cook.

And *then* there are the thermonuclear stirfries...but that's for later. :)
