Damn!

You'd think they'd have some city ordinance to prohibit stuff like that.

Yes, uh, no. Very small town. And, you know, it's one of those places you don't notice after awhile, or you do notice and are compelled to look whenever you pass it. It's unsightly, yet interesting!

brimgs back memories

Ahhh, Welcome Bethesda Rd.
I remember walking or riding on my bike down to that house. I spent a lot of summer days there.

Thanks for the memories

Re: brimgs back memories

I told Allie after we got home last night that I wished we had thought to take some pictures of your old home there. I know I really enjoy going back to my past homes when I get the chance. Besides, I spent enough time there with your family that I often look on it fondly when I pass. Your dad and I shared several wood cutting adventures with the follow-up splitting party there in the lower driveway. Good times.

That last picture of the door really brought back childhood memories. My parent's house had a door much like that when they first bought the place.

Doorways like that always look like they are hiding secrets.

Absolutely. You know the smell that will be on the other side of that door too. Dank and musty. To a kid it is the smell of adventure!
