Birthday is done.

All-in-all it was a good one. Not the best ever, certainly not the worst (that was 40). We went out to eat at Jimmy's Seafood and Oyster Bar (It's just off of Stratford Road and Hanes Mall Blvd for you locals). It is the best seafood in the area IMO. My parents were going for the first time and it was DElicious! We all enjoyed it much.

I got cash from my parents which is going in the bank to pay for the early b-day present of a permanent LJ account back on the 7th. We came back home and visited and I got a call from my sister out in Lost Vegas to wish me a happy birthday on the way home. (Even though she talked to Allie waaay longer than she did me!)

So far, I've had a really nice time being off from work. I have relaxed a lot and also gotten a lot accomplished in the yard. I have a lot more I hope to accomplish before going back to work next Friday. I hope to get all the chainsaw work done I need to, get all the trimmings hauled to the front curb for pick-up, get the deck and play set pressure washed (and maybe even more of the cement and/or even the aluminum siding on the house!), get the back yard overseeded with grass seed, treat the dogs and yard for fleas, weed and feed the whole lawn, and get all the cleaned wooden items (Deck, back steps, play set, small decorative front fence, trash can holder) water-sealed. Not much, right?

Yeah, so I need to get in the bed in the next few minutes. Yet, I won't. I have a couple of feet to shoot at, namely my own.

Edit: acey sent me an online Hallmark birthday card. Thanks, Ang!
