Yes, we were all really happy with it. Of course, there was still some prodding. Not for perfection, mind you, but because some of his lower grades were due to missing easy points. For example, there has been at least one time that he did his homework, then didn't show it to the teacher, then subsequently lost it. Thus, an unnecessary zero. That's not unusual for Evan, whom I still call, "The Nutty Professor," though not to his face. ;-)

Overall I am very pleased with how well he has dealt with the transition to middle school: changing classes, using a locker, having P.E. instead of recess, etc. Transitions have traditionally been difficult for him, so this is a monumental success. It helps that he generally has LESS homework than he's had in the last 2 years. Sheesh.
