My Fourth...

Okay, I got a little upset yesterday, but I also got over it.  I was upset that for the 4th of July we had Ramen noodles for supper.  Yep, the kind you boil for 3 minutes... for the 4th?!  I was informed by the co-manager upon receipt of my complaint, however, that had I wanted to grill out for the holiday, I would have needed to provide advance notice to the purchasing department.  This was not a suitable response so I had to speak with the manager about his attitude.  (Um, that would be ME.)

After we ate, we went outside to burn through our 3 year old pack of $20 fireworks from Wal-Mart.  This was enjoyed by the entire family and served to resolve said previous tension and conflict.  Suffice to say, all future 4th celebrations on which I am off of work are already pre-requisitioned for Rib-eyes, kielbasa, chicken breasts, or burgers and hot-dogs.  That is, some MEAT will heretofore be grilled on or about the 4th of July at our residence unless said ritual is postponed or canceled by the aforementioned manager (ME).
