Dad has an appointment to get set up with the weight machines next week. I think it will help him mentally with the fitness drudgery regimen. It is in keeping with his goals (as well as mine) as he wants to lose some extra weight, and even with some muscle gain, the fat will burn off. The great thing is, the more muscle you have the more your body becomes a fat burning factory. Win-win!

Elliptical and weights this morning. The Fitlinxx system is going through an upgrade this weekend. I hope they really improve it. Currently, they update so slowly it's ridiculous. If I workout there this morning, it is likely to be around midnight, sometimes later, before the data is available on their website. !? Awhile back they lost their "link" for about TWO WEEKS and it took another week or more before all the backed up data was finally updated and current. There's definitely some room for competition in this field. A company that cared about customer service could put them out of business! Oh, what am I thinking, there ARE no companies that care about customer service. Well, a few. Maybe. Mostly it's the flagging dollar they care about. Sad.

Work tonight (can you sense my negativity?) but it's my two night weekend, which is SO much more doable. I'm looking forward to hitting the Y with Allie tomorrow morning for some treadmilling. (At least part of that sentence was overstated.)

The boys and I went to Greensboro yesterday for a homeschooler meet-up at an indoor rock climbing facility. There were no rocks. However, they had an absolute ball climbing around on the artificial, 42 foot high rock walls. Of course, there were harnesses and ropes for safety. Both of them were able to make it to the top! There were several different profiles for them to choose from (each rope location was a different climb.) It was awesome to see how well they did. It's something they could become really good at if they wanted to pursue it as an interest. Hopefully, we'll get set up to return every month or two. It was $10 each for 2 hours of climbing and they both got my money's worth. They've been asleep now for 12 hours, so I'm guessing they might be sore this morning.

They got signed up this week for swimming classes starting next week. They can both "swim," which is to say, "keep from drowning", but this class will teach them strokes and strengthen their skills. I'm excited for them.

No BOC this morning because I'm brunching out on some leftover Mexican food. If there were such a thing as past lives (which I don't believe), there's no doubt I would have been named Juan or Julio, or maybe Estephan. Hopefully not Paco.

Mmmmmm, tacquitos...
