Soy cashew zucchini loaf. It always surprises me the things vegitarians will mix together and call food in their never-ending attempts to avoid "gross" meats.

But then, NC is about as far from Santa Cruz, in so many ways, as you can get. So, to each his/her own.

Allie was so grossed out at the color of her own cooking, she had to go lay down after supper because she was nauseated. In person, it looked like regular meatloaf that was left in an unrefrigerated cabinet for about a week. But, it tasted excellent. I took it to work a couple of nights later, and I believe that is the best meatloaf I ever ate!

Okay, I made that up. But it's not that far off from real food I've eaten.

I used to live with a guy who was vegetarian... he wouldn't eat anything that had eyes. He didn't appreciate it when I inquired about potatoes. :) But, I did only cook vegetarian food for a long time and still don't eat much meat.

I don't think the color would bother me. Fuzzy meatloaf, on the other hand...
