But, not so bad really. There was a very slight breeze that kicked in frequently enough to help me out. I drank the entire 2 liters of water with just a few sips left when I got back into the cool house. Headed to Old Salem again, this time took a left on Main Street instead of a right. It took me all the way back to the bullet building before I turned around at the 30 minute mark. Awesome scenery, and I'm actually enjoying these walks. It isn't "easy" yet, it isn't so hard as to be grueling. It is just a steady MODERATE (key word) workout that I can easily vary by walking faster or slower. Whoever invented walking as an exercise is going to dominate the exercise industry!
Well, I'm working a few hours extra tonight in the Burn Unit and it's the first time I've worked up there since they moved from the old location. I'm not particularly looking forward to it, I did it because it is the responsible thing to do. We can use the money, especially since Allie just worked her last night. I expect the auctions will sufficiently take the place of her part-time nursing income, only there is a certain risk and potential unreliability to doing that for income. Anyway, working there tonight will give me an opportunity to see if a)they need any occasional help that I might scarf up, and b)whether or not I want to work any more extra up there. It is only from 1900 till midnight or so, so I don't even have to sleep for it if I don't want to. Still, not looking forward to it.
Shower time, wonder if I'm thinner yet? Hahahaha!
